Xavier Charter School had their Art Night on Friday, October 26, 2007. Each student had artwork to show, the choirs performed and the Musical Song Theater class performed. It was a fun evening and it was nice to see what the kids have been doing.

Veronica performed with the Musical Song Theater class. She also displayed some artwork, but we couldn't get a picture of it--the camera was full.

Savannah did a line drawing and built the three story structure out of paper.

This is Savannah's treasure map for their studies of Treasure Island.

The pumpkin Joe picked at the pumpkin patch became a globe of the earth (with paints and help from the family). It was a family project and it was fun.

Joe made the Egyptian mummy and his initials in clay in the Babylonian language (they're hard to see on the paper). He also made the paper sculpture robot.

Cute kids. Fun stuff. So have you liked the charter school? Is it better than regular school?
