We were trying to think of something fun to do the day before school started and were coming up empty. Then we got a phone call that some paperwork needed dropped off in Salt Lake, so that decided it--we were going to Salt Lake.We took the paperwork, then toured Cathedral of the Madeleine, then went to Great Harvest where we got a braided baguette and butter and headed to Liberty Park. As you can see from the photos, we had a fun time.
We finished up the day sharing cheesecake at Cheesecake Factory. It was a nice, relaxing way to spend the day before jumping back into the routines of school.

YOu are a good mom to make something that could be mundane and a "prep for school starting" day into something fun and memorable for the kids.
I want to eat all of those yummy things you ate.
