We enjoyed a visit from the Grandparents for a few days this week. We loved having them come. We snapped a few photos. We should have snapped more, but here are the ones we got. The first night that they arrived, we had a talent show with Savannah dancing...
...and Veronica playing the piano.
Joe was Grandpa's little buddy this trip. He enjoyed hanging out with Grandpa, being put in traps (even Grandma got in on the trap action) and watched Planet Earth together. They had a good time.
In their desire to help out while here, Grandpa vacuumed up some yarn (and a speaker cord) and had to buy tools and work for a few hours to repair the vacuum. Sad, huh? Thanks for your help, anyway!
Joseph read to the Grandparents. Here he is reading to Grandma.
This is Grandpa and Grandma shopping at Real Deals. We also shopped at Thursdays.
Grandma and the girls played Ticket to Ride and Grandpa and Travis and Bruce enjoyed the Oregon Arizona game. Actually, Bruce wanted Oregon, so he didn't enjoy the game very much. Look in the background and you'll see Joe sleeping. We love it shen the Grandparents come for a visit and hope it isn't very long until they can come again. We love you!

looks like some good times. how lucky to have visits where you have grandma & grandpa all to yourselves all day for a few days. the most fun times are the 'hanging out' times when nothing in particular is scheduled.
Cute. So sad about the vacuum. It really stinks when you try to do something good and it turns bad.
I'm glad they could come visit and share some time with your family!!!!
fun photos. i can't wait for the grandparents to come for a visit at our house. :)
looks like you had a fun time.
Hi. I came across your blog from Mindy's blog. I heard the song playing, and it's one of my favorite songs by Ryan Adams. Have you heard his version? I highly recommend it. Anyway, I couldn't help but comment.
Visitors are the best! Today we were discussing how your family might have gotten the worst tour yet (although we did do a lot of fun stuff, most noteworthy is the time we spent hanging out) because we weren't familiar with the area enough to show you all of the things that we now include on the standard tour. Come again and we will try to show you a good time.
Looks like a lot of fun. Are those splits Savannah is doing? Wow, that is impressive for someone in our family line. Glad you had a great visit.
What a fun time! And I am amazed by the splits! I have never even remotely come close to doing splits!
